Deadline Approaching for Property Tax Protests

Property owners in Texas should be aware that the deadline for protesting the tax value assessment of your property is the later of May 31, 2009, or 30 days after the valuation notice is sent out. An official notice of protest must be filed to your local appraisal review board (ARB) by the applicable deadline to meet the required timeframe.
